Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, might be getting a grand upgrade! According to reports, Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, has filed an application with the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) seeking permission to add two additional floors to the sea-facing mansion.

Mannat, a six-story colonial-era building, is a popular landmark and a major tourist attraction in Bandra, Mumbai. The proposed expansion would add a seventh and eighth floor, with an estimated cost of ₹25 crore. A decision on the application is awaited.

Originally built in 1914, Mannat was known as Villa Vienna before Shah Rukh Khan purchased and renamed it in 2001. The residence holds a special place in the hearts of fans, who often gather there to catch a glimpse of the King Khan, especially on his birthday.
